People seem to always ask for a cute female puppy, often overlooking an absolutely amazing boy!!
Males make fantastic pets. When they are neutered around 5-6 months old, they will not "mark" like intact males do (this seems to be what most people fear).
Male dogs tend to want to please their owners, therefore they listen very well.
Since they are more laid back than females, training of any kind is easier!
Males are also cheaper to have neutered because it is a less invasive procedure than spaying a female.
